Located in Stockwell, this service provides housing and support to twenty young parents or families, aged 16 to 25.
Georgian Houses is a mother and baby service located at our main site in Lambeth, where we also run Olive House and King Georges House.
Georgian Houses provides accommodation and twenty-four hour support to mothers and their young children. Each family staying there has a self-contained flat with its own kitchen, bathroom and living area.
When customers move in we work with them individually to assess how we can best support them with their goals. Everybody is given a dedicated support worker, and has access to a wide range of community services including counselling, vocational training and creative skills workshops.
We have a range of local partnerships that assist us with this work, including health wellbeing and family support.
When families are ready to transition to independent accommodation outside of Evolve, we offer advice and guidance about that process. We often encourage them to use the Lambeth Housing Register, and we work with them to find other properties and even arrange visits. When they have found somewhere we will help with the move in any way we can, in order to make it as smooth and positive as possible.
