Join our campaign to increase awareness, raise funds and make change.
By the end of 2021, an estimated 1 in 53 people were homeless in London*.
That’s almost 2%. It’s not good enough, and it needs to change. That’s why we’re running our second Move campaign.
Running through July, Move53 challenges you to do something based on the number 53 to raise money and awareness about homelessness in London.
You can choose any challenge you like. We suggest doing something that you will enjoy, that’s a bit different, and that’s… well, challening!
Once you have chosen your challenge, let people know what you’re up to and ask them to donate.
Everything you raise will support our work helping people across London to find new homes. This process is called re-settlement – it is a vital park of what we do and central to ending homelessness in the city.
What will your 53 be?
For more information about the campaign and how to take part, check out our Move53 booklet. If you’re interested in taking part, or have already planned your 53, do email firstname.lastname@example.org if you want us to share news about your activities, or if you have any questions.
*The 1 in 53 figure is based on researh from Shelter released in December 2021, corroborated by our own subsequent research. For more information you can read their full report here.
