Our volunteers play an integral role in supporting our service users to excel in their aspirations and find their way to independence. Volunteering also acts as a way of bringing the community together and breaking down social barriers and misconceptions.

From counsellors who provide one to one therapy sessions, to friendly faces helping out at our breakfast clubs, to those who brave the elements and swing collection buckets at train stations, we have a broad range of incredible people voluntarily supporting our work.

As part of our partnership with companies, we offer volunteer days so people can see first-hand the work we do and offer their skills or time.

This year we have had volunteers from Centrale redecorate a customer lounge and revamp one of our gardens. Volunteers from 3DC Learning, London Jobs Fayre, Hatch Enterprises, Start Up Croydon and Monzo have taken part in our Certificate of Entrepreneurship programme, delivering presentations and workshops regarding their business specialism, up-skilling customers in their area of expertise.

Our volunteers are a core part of our family and positively impact our customers’ lives and we believe and hope, positively impacting the lives of those who volunteer.

78 volunteers have supported our work this year.
