Corporate fundraising at Evolve has made notable progress in the last year. Our fantastic partners include companies from across various industries, from events, to property, to shopping centres.
We take genuine pleasure in creating bespoke, mutually beneficial partnerships with each company we work with and are grateful for the impact they enable us to deliver.
Croydon-based property developer, Walter Lilly, have their own charitable foundation. Each year they host a charity ball at The Grosvenor, bringing together businesses across the property sector with the sole ambition of raising funds for charitable causes, boosted by exclusive raffles and a silent auction.
Managing Director, Chris Butler, nominated Evolve to be one of the three chosen charities for this year’s ball. Kelly Gower, who organised the ball said,
“Walter Lilly conceived the idea of an inclusive networking event on behalf of our industry in 2016 and created HQR London, where the who’s who in High Quality Residential Construction would be invited to attend.
We are acutely aware that the nature of our business operations cater for the wealthiest members of society and that people living in stark contrast to their daily way of life are often overlooked and are in need of desperate help. Having previously met with Evolve Housing + Support, we decided to select them to be the recipient of the funds raised from the on-the-night raffle ticket sales and live and silent auctions at HQR’s 2019 networking event.
HQR London were delighted to present Evolve with a cheque for £19,000 in support of their quest to tackle homelessness and rebuild lives.”
This fantastic donation has helped us to continue our Work + Learning programme, guiding our service users into work, training and education.
