Announcement regarding our Chief Executive

Our long-serving Chief Executive, Jeremy Gray, will be leaving the organisation later this year after more than 15 years in post.

Jeremy joined the organisation in June 2008 and oversaw a major redevelopment programme which transformed the quality of our services.  He said: ‘I joined when our organisation was very different, and I look back on my time here with immense pride.  We have transformed our buildings and service delivery, we are sector leaders on customer involvement and co-production, and our work to help the most vulnerable in society has improved the lives of many people.  Our staff team provides exemplary service and works tirelessly to meet the needs of our customers every day and night of the year’.

Paul Perkin, Chair of the Board said: ‘On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Jeremy for his long service and tireless dedication to serving our residents, staff and organisation.  Under his leadership the organisation has grown and developed significantly, leaving his successor a sound platform for further growth. As a values-led and personable leader, Jeremy will be greatly missed by everyone of us and we wish him the very best for the future”

To ensure continuity and stability, Jeremy has agreed with the Board that he will stay until his successor has been appointed and has started in post.

The recruitment process starts on 14 April and will be led by Campbell Tickell – you can find more information here. The Board hopes to have a new CEO in post by the autumn, and further announcements will be made in due course.
