Homelessness groups sign letter urging Home Secretary to protect migrants
Today councils across London submitted a letter calling for urgent Government action to ensure no recourse to public funds laws do not undermine our collective effort to end rough sleeping.
Evolve is proud to stand with 16 councils and 15 charities and faith leaders, to warn Home Secretary Priti Patel about a policy that blocks migrants from accessing public funds. This move will force thousands of homeless people back onto the streets during the pandemic.
