Evolve announces significant enhancement to staff sick pay during Coronavirus outbreak
Evolve Chief Executive Jeremy Gray said: “Our top priority is keeping our vital 24 hour services for vulnerable people running. The biggest challenge we face is staffing. We’ve committed to a significant enhancement of sick pay allowance to keep our staff safe and avoid spreading the Coronavirus.
“This comes at a potentially huge cost and yet we need to back fill essential staff posts to keep our services open and our vulnerable residents safe. We urgently need extra, emergency funding to be able to do this, and are calling on the Government and Local Authorities to make this is made available immediately.”
