Croydon councillors Chris Clark and Caragh Skipper, representing Croydon Fairfield, have signed up to Sleep Out for Evolve Housing + Support following their visit to Alexandra House and Palmer House.
Chris and Caragh met with Evolve Chief Executive, Jeremy Gray, and Director of Businesses Development, Alice Hainsworth, to learn how Evolve helps people break the cycle of homelessness. During their visit they met with support workers and beneficiaries from two of Evolve’s supported accommodation services in Croydon.
Together Chris and Caragh have pledged to raise £500 which will provide services such as in-house counselling, work and learning support and a pathway into independence.
In the lead up to Evolve’s second Sleep Out, the councillors have also organised a Quiz at the Cronx to help boost thier fundraising. The quiz will take place at the Cronx Bar in Boxpark, Croydon on Sunday 15 March at 7pm. Entry costs £2 per person.
