Big Lottery Funded Health and Wellbeing Project Launched
In October we launched our new Big Lottery Funded Psychological Wellbeing Project at our office in South Wimbledon.
Our new Specialist Health and Wellbeing Team, Rob Andrews the new Specialist Health and Wellbeing Manager, alongside 3 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners Christoph Daikhi and Donna Arthur all attended the launch to meet staff and share plans for the project.
The team were joined with staff from across the organisation to mark the launch of the new project and welcome the new team to Evolve. The new Health and Wellbeing Team are working with our beneficiaries, supporting them to move through the recovery process by providing psychological and therapeutic support.
The new staff will work at sites to deliver one-to-one and group support for some of most vulnerable customers. Our research indicates that 87% of our customers have a mental health diagnosis with many of them having experienced significant childhood trauma. This programme will mean they get the support they need to rebuild their lives.
The specialist Health and Wellbeing Team is funded for the next 3 years by the Big Lottery.
