Due to our merger last year, our staff capacity has increased along with our boroughs and the number of customers that we work with. As Croydon is no longer central for all the service locations where we work, a change of address was called for. So we decided to repurpose one of our buildings, which was formerly a conference centre for Grenfell Housing and Training (who we merged with in April 2017), the building was given a complete refurbishment over the winter months, scheduled for opening early this spring. Last Friday, our head office staff finished packing up and bid good-bye to our Croydon offices. Then, On Monday 12 March, they arrived at a welcome breakfast at our new office location on Kingston Road in South Wimbledon. Staff enjoyed croissants whilst receiving welcome packs and instructions about the new ways of working.
Thank you to Magenta for refurbishing our Kingston Road offices and for your resourceful and innovative work. Thank you to our designers and printers, Both Associations and Buchanan Dean Design for all their help creating designs, collateral and signage for decorating our new office. And thank you to our corporate services team- particularly Jenny Strudwick (Director of Corporate Services) and last but by no means last, Alison McGibbon (Corporate Services Manager) who have been instrumental in overseeing details great and small in implementing our head office move.
There will be an official opening of the Kingston Road office to our stakeholders in June- so watch this space for more details. We look forward to getting to know our Wimbledon neighbours better as we settle into the London Borough of Merton.
