What would be your best gift ever?
This week saw the launch of our Christmas campaign: #BestGiftEver
We began by asking Sharon, Saville, Giselle and David, who are homeless people living in our hostels (known as customers) what their best gifts ever would be this Christmas. They answered: a home, a job, a qualification and a family.
For Christmas 2017, we are asking people to help us give a homeless person the best gift ever this Christmas.
There are a number of ways that you can help us to achieve this:
- You can donate to help support our vital work with homeless people in London by visiting our JustGiving page or texting ‘BEST73 £5’ to donate £5.
- Help us ensure that each of our customers receives a gift this Christmas by donating presents. Please see here for gift suggestions and watch this space for news of our Giving tree in the Whitgift Centre in Croydon!
- Why not fundraise for us over the festive season? We have loads of fun ideas to help inspire you as you organise a fundraising event or activity.
- Help spread the word about our Christmas campaign through our social media platforms on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. We will be uploading videos and updates every week so watch this space for more news.
Over the next couple of months , please keep an eye on our blog as we will be regularly updating our blog, sharing Sharon, Saville, Giselle and David’s stories, locations of where and when we’ll be collecting donations, and the launch of our very first choir- involving both staff and customers to fundraise- at the Whitgift shopping centre in Croydon.
