This year, we launched our re-branded annual customer conference as ‘Evolve Fest’.
The name was chosen by a working group of staff and customers, who collaborated to create a unique and engaging event to celebrate our customers’ achievements.
On 5 September, staff and customers travelled to The Passage headquarters in London, and Evolve Fest commenced. The event was attended by over 80 customers and was a resounding success.
During the morning session, a ‘world café’ was set up so that customers could meet and chat to different teams from head office, community and central services.
After lunch, an arts and crafts table was set up where customers could learn how to finger knit and there was a workshop run by our Ambassador: Bianca Miller-Cole. Bianca offered customers ‘4 top tips for setting up your own business.’
Meanwhile, DJ mix sessions were set up on the roof garden as well as exotic animals from Animal Days Out were on display for customers to pet and interact with.
Evolve Fest concluded with awards being presented to 11 of our customers by our Chair, Karen, and Bianca Miller- Cole. Our customers receive awards for their commitment to personal development, involvement and engagement with the training programmes and courses that we offer, and their support and encouragement of their peers. This year we received an incredible 159 nominations for 102 individual customers- higher than any previous year!
We would like to offer our congratulations to the 11 award winners and a huge well done to everyone who was nominated.
