Grenfell joins Evolve

The Boards of Evolve Housing + Support and Grenfell Housing and Training are delighted to confirm that Grenfell joined Evolve on 1 April 2017.

With a combined turnover of £12.45m and working in eight local authorities, the organisation is now the third largest provider of accommodation for homeless people in London.

In a joint statement about the merger, Diana Coman, Chair of Grenfell, and Karen Cooper, Chair of Evolve, said:

‘‘Our shared view that the people we support should be at the heart of everything we do; shaping our service development and delivery, and our common values provide good synergy between our two organisations.

By joining together, our new organisation will be able to achieve even better outcomes for many more people. We will:

  • Support around 2000 people each year towards independence
  • Provide more local community services including support into work and learning, counselling and mentoring; and
  • Build more new, affordable homes for homeless people.

We are delighted to bring our organisations together; this will be of real benefit to the people we support and our combined financial strength will enable us to continue to make a lasting difference to lives and communities.”
