The Boards of Evolve Housing + Support and Grenfell Housing and Training have approved a proposal to merge the two organisations. Subject to completion of legal formalities, Grenfell will join Evolve on 1 April 2017. The newly merged organisation will be called Evolve Housing + Support.
With a combined turnover of £12.45m and working in eight local authorities, the organisation will be the third largest provider of accommodation for homeless people in London.
In a joint statement about the merger, Diana Coman, Chair of Grenfell, and Karen Cooper, Chair of Evolve, said:
