Democracy Day at Alexandra House
On International Democracy Day we invited customers to see the power their votes have and the importance of registering to vote.
Alexandra House customers took part in workshops which used everyday examples to demonstrate the value of registering to vote and how to make their voice heard. One of the exercises involved customers voting to decide what kind of food the group would eat as well as a lively debate. Support Workers also sat down with customers and guided them through the registration process.
